Bill and combination opened at Heuck's 10 in
'The Knights of the Plains,' which was repeated
11, 12, 'May Cody' being substituted for the
rest of the week. Mr. Cody's Indians, donkey
and beer proved big attractions for the gods.
The acting in general was indifferent. Charles
Wilson, however, played an Irishman well, and
Messrs. E. L. Mortimer, J. T. Melville and J. L.
Matthews also deserve notice, while Miss Lydia
Denier, who personated the leading feminine
characters, was fully up to their requirements.
Mr. Cody's Combination disband here, he going
to San Francisco.
