Dear Sir: I have found an organism which I can't place. To all intents and purposes it is an amoeba, but I can't account for its origin. I have made a number of cultures by letting common Dodder (Cuscuta) decompose in a glass of water. In a few days the amoeba like organisms appear in great numbers
