I could not place, at all, the two specimens that are by themselves. The one in the vial grows upon rocks between tide marks. The other grows below low-water mark mostly. Both present a bright green appearance in the water - the former a light green and the latter a very dark green Both are undoubtedly familiar to you.
The terrestrial plants were brought home from a trip to a canon five miles distant yesterday. It is one across the lake from Elsinore, on the north side of the Sanita Rose
