Dear Dr. Bessey:

I am intending to send
Mr. Ellis the Poronospora gra[?]
which he may like to distribute. Do
you think well of my sending the L[?]
[?], [Watson?], with the new Tuber[?]
Lupini Farlow in [litt.?] as from Bessey
and Halsted? I have quite a lot of
specimens. What think you? I hope to
get some California fungi this winter and if so
will want to make an exchange with you.
