Was your attention, while at
New Orleans, called to that [?]
grass, that came up through the
asphalt pavement? I have some
of it, and send specimen. —
Plant it. I do not think it
will stand one minute, nor
do I know if it has any merit.
But the fact that it actually
would push its way up through
the asphalt pavements is wonderful.
I have forgotten its
name.
