If not of the whole subject do
you know of partial lists that
would aid me in arranging
and systematyzing my work.
Have had good luck collecting this
season a new B[?] [?]
a Canadian desmid not observed
before in the U. S. and probably are
other desmid sp. [?]. Last fall I
got a species recently described
in Journal M[y?]cology Amphi[?]
Orono[?], [?] which I will
try and send you later.

Ellis says that my collectings
indicate some good things yet
to come.
