It can hardly be that I offered
you "Proceedings" of Calif. Acad.
The Academy itself has but one
single set of the early volumes
of its Proceedings, and I
have no copy of them for
my own library.

I did mean that the
earlier subscribers to
Pittonia should have each
a set of my "Studies" extracted
from the Bulletin
(not Proceedings) of the Cal. Acad.
But now it is to late,
for me to supply you with
even those. I had forgotten
