kindly written you that he
will submit my testimonials
and references to the Board

of their Commencement when
the B. will have a meeting

got Dr Angell to write a strong
letter to Dr. L. in my behalf
and have made a similar
appealto Dr. Jno. B[?]
who on other occasions has
favored me. Dr. Folwell
will do the same – who however
signified to me some
time ago that he wanted
me in the Chair of Philos.
