I presume you
know I have the Chair of
Nat History here. The only
anxiety I have is about the
[sic.] climate which I expect
is very severe. I had chance
to go to Washington as Assistant
to Dr. Vasey at 1200.00 but
chose this place at 1500.00.
I may have made a mistake
in not going to [?]. What do
you think?

Prof. C. H. Fernald who leaves here
to go to Amherst is auite a
specialist in Entomology but
I can not see that much
