issued from the office
of "Science."

In launching it, we
have to depend for articles
at first, almost wholly
upon ourselves & those
philanthropic scientists who
are personally interested
in spreading the knowledge
of Nature & Scientific
methods of observation, among
the people.

for The Swiss Cross – one or
more aticles – on botanical
subjects. As for examples –
"How a modern botanist
goes to work at a plant" —
either illustrated, or easily
capable of illustration.
