I think I got along very
well with the printers and I attributre the
fault to the fact that the foreman of the
press office has some literary ambitions of his
own and is now wasting the midnight oil
ona "History of the Art & Mystery of Typography,
and he kindly allowed me all the "proof" I
asked for so that I was enabled to use the
rule of thumb, and cut & try. I will therefore
relieve the printer from all censure for [?]
except one on the last [forge?] [?] instead
of [?], that leaves two more that I
have since discovered and for which I am [especially?]

Not being familiar with entomological names
I adhered closely to copy in the other [?] [?] I have a strong
suspician that [?] [labor?] took some of his
specific names from a catalogue where the printer
