78AFTER RECESS. The Board of Regents met at 2 o'clock p. m., pursuant to adjournment of yesterday. Present, Regents Furnham, Gerem Hiatt and Holmes. Absent, Regents Hull & Mallalieu. The minutes of the last preceeding meeting were read and approved. Lieut. E. S. Dudley read his report of the progress of the military department accompanied with estimates of expenses for ensuing year, which was received and referred to the University and Library Committee and the Finance Committee. Professor Bessey read his report of the Department of Botany and Horticulture and same was referred to the Finance Committee. On motion of Regent Holmes, it was ordered that the steward be instructed to settle all accounts with Professor Bessey and examine and approve his accounts if found correct. | 78After Recess. |
