327Special Meeting Sign amendent to Memo.of Agree. with ARS, USDA, re cancellation of agreement and the director or associate director of the Agricultural Experiment Station be authorized and directed to execute an amendment to the Memorandum of Agrreement dated May 4, 1957, between the Board of Regents and the Agricultural Research Service, U. S. Department of Agriculture. This amendment equalizes the position of the University and the Agricultural Research Service with respect to cancellation of the Agreement. As a result of this amendment, paragraph 8 of the Memorandum of Agreement will read as follows: "It is mutually understood and agreed that this Agreement shall continue in effect for a period of not less than ten years from the date of said Agreement and that thereafter it may be renewed automatically from year to year unless cancelled by either party after first giving the other party a year's notice in writing in advance of the effective date desired." | 327 |
