Approve application fee for admission of non-resident

From the Chancellor's office comes a recommendation that the University of Nebraska join other schools in the Big Eight Conference in charging an application fee of $10.00 for each non-resident undergraduate application for admission to the University of Nebraska. It is recommended that this fee be non-refundable. However, should the applicant actually enroll as an undergraduate student the $10.00 application fee would apply toward payment of fees and tuition. It is further stated the purpose of such a fee is to reduce the cost of processing "no show" applicants.
