180Special Meeting Retirement It was moved by Regent Greenberg, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, that the following retirement be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office. RETIREMENT Gladys Ring Bailey, Dishwasher at Ag Cafeteria, at $62.35 per year single life, effective November 1, 1958. Record death of persons on University payroll From the Chancellor's office comes a report of the death of the following persons who have been on University retirement. It was moved by Regent Swanson, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, that these deaths be made a matter of record in these minutes and the University retirement payrolls adjusted accordingly. A. A. Larsen, Senior Consultant, College of Medicine, July 26, 1958 Jessie Graham, retired from Registrar's Office, Oct. 10, 1958 J. L. Thomas, retired Assoc. Extension Agr., Oct. 11, 1958 Bids for heating system at Elgin property From the Business Manager's office, Mr. Carl A. Donaldson, comes an itemization of bids received for the proposed heating system improvement consisting of an eight inch steam line to the Elgin property from the University power plant and the removal of sidewalk and replacement with an eight foot sidewalk on the south side of W Street, which work is involved in connection with the remodeling of the Elgin property.
