From the University Building Committee comes information that the Division of Conservation and Survey presently housed in Nebraska Hall will in the near future be moved to permanent quarters in the building purchased from the Elgin National Watch Company.

Bldg.Committee Recommendation

Upon completion of the removal of the Divn. of Conservation and Survey from Nebraska Hall, it will be unoccupied and it is recommended that the building be demolished. It was further recommended that on demolition and removal of Nebraska Hall the building purchased from the Elgin National Watch Company be named "Nebraska Hall."

It ws pointed out by the Building Committee t hat Nebraska Hall has long been in a state of disrepair, that it was condemned by the State Fire Marshall several years ago and has been used by the University during the interim on a temporary basis.
