Summary of Bids accepted Research Pavilion

It was moved by Regent Greenberg, seconded by Regent Welsh, motion put to vote and carried that the following bids be accepted for construction of a Research Pavilion at the Nebraska Psychiatric Institute:

Additional amount approved if additional funds received

In addition to the amounts approved, work in the total amount of $85,841 ($65,000 for general construction, $16,529 for mechanical, work, and $4,312 for electrical work) may be reinstated by the Owner within a thirty day period. Reinstate will be made as and when additional funds are received for a second floor to be added to the Research Pavilion at the Nebraska Psychiatric Institute.

Authorize application for federal funds to finance second floor-Research Pavilion

It was moved by Regent Welsh, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, that the Assistant Corporation Secretary be authorized and directed to act for the Board of Regents in making application and completing negotiations for federal funds to partially finance a proposed second floor to be added to the Research Pavilion at the Nebraska Psychiatric Institute. These funds, if available, will come from the construction allotment made to the State of Nebraska by the Surgeon General for construction of hospital facilities.
