Regent Hull moved that the action of the minority of the board on June 10th, 1884, directing the conferring of the degrees as above named, and the action of the chancellor in the premises as ratified and confirmed and that the degrees at declared duly conferred upon the class of '84, as also the monorary degrees above mentioned, which motion prevailed.

2nd. Calling attention to the vacancies in certain chairs, and the filling of the same. Passed to executive session.

3rd. Recommending in relation to the medical college in substance as follows:
(A) That the terms of admission, amount of work and length of course in different sections of the school, or uniform. (B) No student to be credited with study in other colleges until credited with study in other colleges until credentials be passed upon by the faculty and accepted by the chancellor. (C) The demonstrator to furnish all material for use of that department and personally to attend to instruction. (D) That the course of study be three years. (E) Certain conditions for graduation, to take effect Sept. 1st, 1885.
All referred to the commitee on course of study.

4th. Rooms and accommodations for the medical college and the re-organization of latin school.

Referred to the university library committee.

On motion the board then took a recess until 1.30 o'clock p.m.

The board of regents reassemnled at 1.30 o'clock p.m. pursuant to adjournment.

Present, regents Burnham, Hiatt, Mull and Mallalieu.

Absent, regents Gere and C.P. Holmes.

The minutes of the morning session were read and approved.
