2LINCOLN, NEBRASKA JUNE 10TH, 1884. JUN [13?] 1994 The board of Regents of the University of Nebraska, met in annual sessions at the office of the Chancellor, in the University building, at 2 o'clock p.m., [pursuant?] to the provisions of the by-laws. Present, Regents J.M. Hiatt, M.J. Hull and J.T. Mallalieu. Absent, Regents J.W. Gannett, C.N. [Gene?] and E. P. Holmes. No Quorum. There being not a quorum present at this time, the regular order of business was dispended with. The Chancellor stated that his annual report was not fully prepared for submission and called attention only to the matter of [conferring?] degrees, in course and monorary in accordance with the recommendations of the faculty. On motion, the Chancellor was instructed by the mebers present, to confer the proper degrees publically on commencement day, uponj the present graduating class, also the monorary degree of L.L.D., upon Prof, E.B.
