The Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska met on this day for a special meeting at 9:30 A.M. in the administration building on the city campus at Lincoln.

Regents present:
B. N. Greenburg, President
C.Y. Thompson
Frank O. Foote.
J. G. Elliott
C. E. Swanson
J. L. Welth

University officials present:
Mesare. Clifford M. Mardin, Chancellor
A. C. Breckenridge, Dean of Faculties
John K. Soahnik, Asst. Corporation Secretary

Minutes Approved
The minutes of the proceedings of the Board at their meeting held September 30, 1957, were approved, copy of the same having been transmitted to the several members of the Board under its order of October 1, 1926.

From the Chancellor's office comes reports of resignations, new appointments, ad interim to the University staff, retirement, and adjusments in work and salary for those purposes from former apportionment by the Board, the following action is taken.

Resignations approved
It was moved by the Regent Foote, seconded by Regent Welsh, motion put to vote and carried, accepting recommendation of the Chancellor's office that the following resignations be approved:

RESIGNATIONS

Diego Sagre, Assistant in Animal Pathology, effective July 31, 1955, had been on leave and did not return.

Charles W. Steinbaugh, Professor of Architecture, effective June, 1957.

L. John Martin, Assistant Professor of Journalism effective September 1,1957: to accept another position.

S.B.H. Biavi, Research Associate in Chemistry, effective September 1, 1957.

Minnie Schaefer, Assistant Professor of Preventive Medicine, effective September 21, 1957.

Wayne L. Potthoff, Assistant County Agricultural Extension Agent, effective September 30, 1957.

Avis F. Scholder, Assistant Professor of Neurology and Psychistry, effective September 30, 1957.

Consuelo S. Graham, Assistant Librarian, College of Agriculture, effective October 12 , 1957.

Richard J. Gogan, Assitant Librerian, College of Agriculture, effective October 15, 1957.

Henri Akyildie, Assistant in Biochemistry, effective November 15, 1957.

New Appointments Approved
It was moved by Regent Foote, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, accepting reccomendation of the Chancellor's office that the following new appointments be approved.
