COL. CODY'S ONLY CARD TO THE PUBLIC.
Once for all, and all rumors and reports to the contrary notwithstanding, I beg to most positively assure my comrades, friends, patrons and the press, that whenever my "Wild West and Congress of Rough Riders of the World" is billed to appear, there will I be with it also. That I only always personally direct it as a whole and every production connected therewith, but invariably appear at each and every afternoon and evening performance, conscientiously fulfilling every advertised promise made in my name. My place has always been at the front. I have not been accustomed to loiter at the rear.
Yours very truly,
W. F. CODY,
"BUFFALO BILL"

An Absolutely Orginal and Heroic Enterprise of Inimitable Lustre.

The Only One which Kings, Chief Rulers, Famous Generals, Nobles and the Most Illustrious and Enlightened Men of Every Land Delight to Honor. The Only One which has its Country's Army as its Sponsor. The Only One which is the Splendid Theme of Artistic, Poetic and Historic Inspiration. Which of All the Millions it has Entertained, Taught and Transported, has Never Deceived, Harmed, or Disappointed a Single One. The Like of Which You and Your Children Will Never Look Upon again.

To America and Americans
After months of industrious preparation, enormous outlay and most diligent and thorough research in presenting this greatly enlarged and perfected exhibition to the approval of my countrymen for the season of 1896, I beg to direct their special consideration to the fact:
That it is an absolutely original creation, without precedent, or parallel, and which can have no successor.
That it is just as genuine as original, in every presentation and as regards every participant.
That is Scouts, Pioneers, Indians and Plainsmen, were a part of the romantic history which it, and it alone, perpetuates, honors and exploits in living lessons of heroic power, scope and perfection.
That its representative and extraordinary riders, marksmen and others are of the nationalities stated and the distinction claimed.
That it will steadfastly continue to deserve the world-wide fame and recognition previously and gloriously won ever and forever, as far above deception as it is beyond rivalry or imitation.
Very respectfully,
NATE SALSBURY,
VICE-PRESIDENT AND MANAGER.

It Alone Commands the Confidence of Potentates and Powers
