Secretary McCrary returned from his western trip late Tuesday night, and was at his desk yesterday.

Mr. Charles L. Phillips and bride arrived in the city last evenings from Harrisburg and are registered at the Riggs.

NATIONAL THEATRE--BUFFALO BILL--MAY CODY

Buffalo Bill drew another fine house at the National Last night. The interest in the drama of "May Cody" never flags, but is kept up by hairbreadth escapes from Indians and Danites. The massacre of the emigrants by the Mormons is realistic. Bill, the hero scout, always conquers in his defense of the right, and stands out a prominent feature. Tonight the drama of "Red Right Hand" will be produced with entirely new effects.
