Buffalo Bill's [Troupe?].

The celebrated scout and Indian fighter, Buffalo Bill," arrived on the noon train and is registered at the [Caisse?] house. The excellent brass band belonging to the company, and his Cheyenne Indians dressed in their aboriginal costume paraded through the streets this afternoon, before a large concourse of people. They perform in Bradburn's Hall this evening the stirring border drama, "The Prairie Waif." Incidental to the play are war dances by the Indians, rifle shooting by "Buffalo Bill," and other features entirely new to a Peterborough audience. Referring to the play itself the mail says:

"The Buffalo Bill combination appeared last night at this theatre in the play of the "Prairie Waif." There was a large audience. The "Prairie Waif" is a capital border drama, abounding both in humorous situations and sentimental incidents. The plot turns upon the capture of a girl by the Indians, her rescue, and her subsequent love episodes with her deliverer. Mr. Cody, as Buffalo Bill, was naturally the [principal?] [attraction?], and [acte?] [1?] with all his [accustomed?] vigour and ability. [?] [Keen?] as [?], [was?] particularly good, while [?] Fletcher, as [Onita?] exhibits some good acting in the emotional scenes."
