during the term. The work deserves all
the good things that the reviewers have
said about it, and it will, I am sure,
take a leading position as "the botanical
text book' for advanced college classes
on this side of the Atlantic.

I see Lippencotts have brought []
the [..list?] Edition of Prantl. This, is
my opinion, is the only rival in [the] U. S.
of your most excellent book.
