important engagements. Nearly every Sum-
mer he acts as companion and escort to some
distinguished party of hunters or sportsmen
on their trips over the Plains, and it is quite
likely the coming Summer will be no excep-
tion. But himself and Josh Ogden will do
a good deal of work before he goes, and after
his departure the latter gentleman and Mr.
Gardiner will attend to the balance. Buf-
falo Bill is a successful star and has been
well managed. Mr. Ogden's address is
