The sensation of the piece, the fire scene, was well worked up. On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings Buffalo Bill, Texas Jack and Wild Billm with their company and Mile. Morlacchi, played in The Scouts of the Plains, to houses crowded from the footlights to the doors. J. B. Hickok (Wild Bill) left the troupe here. The combination showed in Lockport March 12, Buffalo 13, and they are to be in Erie, Pa., 14, Union City 16, Kent 17, Mansfield, O., 18, Sandusky 19. Miss Sylvester appeared in 'Nip" the remainder of the week to good houses. On March 16, F. S. Chanfran opens a week's engagement as Kit the Arkansas Traveler ...... George F. Ober, while out riding with another member of the Opera- house company (Mr. Page), on March 7, was thrown from the carriage and severly injured. He was at once removed to the City Hospital, but it is expected that he will soon be able to be about again. Mr. Page was uninjured ....... A happy event occurred at the Osburn House on March 11. It was the marriage of Mr. Walter G. Finlaison (better known in the theatrical world as Walter Fletcher) and Miss Lizzie Safford, both members of the Buffalo Bill company."
