An Interesting Talk With the Long-Haired Nebraskan.

A Man With a Large and Varied Experience

The announcement that "Buffalo Bill" is in town always enough to raise a crowd in any American city. This gentle-man has gained a reputation which, like the renown of Kit Carson and Wild Bill, his friends and cotemporaries, and of Daniel Boone and Davy Crocket, who proceded him, is always confident around a strong interest in him.

While commonly known as "Buffalo Bill"his name when off the stage and with his friends is Wilson F. Cody. He is a man of fine apperance and commanding presences. His height is over sex feet and his figure is tall, perfectly straight and commanding in [?]. His face is full and smooth, his hair loan and [?} a jetty black, althought moustache and goatee are beginning to show traces of gray. His manner is quiet but when in conversation he talks in a gentle manner without any evidences of boastfulness, requiring almost to be pumped regarding his acheivments and the event of his life.

When asked last evening as to whether he and [?] known Kit Carson, Mr. Cody replied
