I expect
to make the proposed trip to the PHilippine
Islands this summer – leaving
here about the first of July
and going by way of San Francisco
prepaid to Hon-Kong – shall be gone
15 months from home.

When you were here in 85 you
spoke of going yourself.
If you should desire to do so I
shall be pleased to do all in my
power to make your trip pleasant
and profitable. A party of four
students is already preparing to
go with me.
