My Dear Professor,

The express package came
today in good shape. Thank for
your trouble, I would like to
ask another favor of you, and
that is to send [?] specimens
of [Echnorypes?] [urbata?]
that still remain in alcohol.
The parts I wnt are all the
[?] flowers, a few fronds,
an old root, a few [?] and
a little stem & leaves. I want
especially to make a study of
the development of the [endosperm?]
and the embryo. Have just come
to the conclusion after a protracted
search that the plant does not
