Research Council Television Retirement Approved It was moved by Regent Greenberg, seconded by Regent Foote, motion put to vote and carried, accepting recommendation of the Chancellor's office that the following retirement be approved. RETIREMENT Lloyd E. Clark, Buildings and Grounds Mailman, at $42.41 per year single life, from December 1, 1957. G. B. Garlick, Custodian at Curtis School of Agriculture, disability retirement at $85.26 per year, single life, from January 1, 1958. Marjorie Shenafelt, Assistant to the Director of the museum, at $753.65 single life from January 1, 1958. Deceased Members of Staff From the Chancellor's office comes a report of the death of two staff members who have been on University retirement. It was moved by Regent Foote, seconded by Regent Welsh, motion put to vote and carried, that these deaths be made a matter of record in these minutes and that the University retirement payrolls be adjusted. The names of the deceased and dates of death are as follows; Walter Bethel, Laboratory Assistant in Animal Pathology, retired - Dec.8, 1957 T. Agnes Simons, Instructor Emeritus in Romance Languages, December 17, 1957 Land Use Agreement - Watersheds at Rosemont, Nebraska From the office of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Dean W. V. Lambert, comes a proposed Land Use Agreement with respect to use in renting lands involved in the watersheds at Rosemont, Nebraska, covering work to be undertaken by the College of Agriculture in connection with an Agreement with the Agricultural Research Service for the studies to be made. It was moved by the Regent Greenberg, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, directing the agreement involving rental of lands in connection with watersheds at Rosemont, Nebraska, be approved and the corporation secretary be authorized to sign in behalf of the board. Summer Session Budget -1958 From the Director of Summer Sessions, Dr. Frank E. Sorenson, comes a proposed Summer Session budget for the summer session of 1958. This budget having been submitted to the Board of Regents one week in advance, it is now considered by the Regents in regular session.
