71"BUFFALO BILL" attracted to the Howard Opera House, last evening, a fair-sized and highly enthusiastic audience. The play-"The Prairie Waif"-is of the good old melodramatic kind, abounding in thrilling situations and effective tableaux. "Buffalo Bill" is as fine a specimen of manhood as we have ever seen, and as far as physical beauty goes would adorn any stage. His rifle-shooting is something really remarkable and well deserved the enthusiastic applause it received. Miss Fletcher is a good actress and the same can be said of Miss Thompson; and Mr. Keen, Mr. Charles and the other members of the company did very well in the parts assigned them.
