Dear Sir: --

Professor Plumb having felt compelled to give up the publication of Agricultural Science, I have decided to continue it. I shall endeavor to make it a fair representative of our American colleges and sanctions; and to this and I am fortunate in having secured the cooperation of it [?] of [?] specialists as associate [?].

[?] I not have your [?], in the ex tension of the usefulness of this journal devoted to our common cause?

I wish especially, to reach the grandsons of our agricultural colleges who are now engaged in agriculture and related pursuits, as well as progressive agriculturists everywhere. If you can give me a list of your own graduates thus engaged, or any other similar information [?] an [?] mail, I shall be under [?] obligation.
