JEFFERSON COUNTY, NEBRASKA.

22. Mocker-nut. Am confident it is in N. E. part of county; will and specimens soon.
37. Red Mulberry. Have sent specimens.
43. Silver Maple. Can send specimens if wanted.
58. Kentucky Coffee-tree. In S. part.
59. Honey Locust. In S. part.

13. Bittersweet. In S. part.
14. Wahoo. In S. Part.
32. Sand cherry. In your list is reported as being in this county, but I think this must be an error. I have been over nearly every township in the county, and have never seen a sand cherry growing naturally, or rather in its wild state. Your informant must be in error.
46. Elder. This is found occasionally along Rose Creek.

I send by this mail a package containing four specimens
which I judge to be Virginia Creeper, Dogwood, Smooth Sumach, and "Buck- brush".
If you would kindly give me the botanical names of these four, it would greatly oblige.
