On motion the board then adjourned until tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock.

The board of regents met at 9 a.m. pursuant to the order mde at yesterday adjournment.
Present: Regents, C. H. Gere, L. Burnham, J. M. Hiatt, M. J. Hull, E. P. Holmes and J. T. Mallalieu a full board.
The minutes of the last proceeding meeting were read and approved.
Com. on C. of S. on Communication of Col.Med.Ass'n
The committee on course of study reported as follows:
Your committee to whom was referred communication from the Nebraska Eclictic Medical Association, suggesting that E. C. Guild be appointed to fill the chair of [dr?] and diseases of women and children, in place of Ira Van Camp resigned, recommend that such appointment be made.

Com. on C. of S. on Comm'n Med. Faculty Relating to Attendance of Drs. Livingstone and Mencer.
The same committe reported as follow:
Your committee to whom was referred the resolution from the medical faculty in regard to the non-attendance of doctors Livingstone and Mencer upon lectures: report that they find on invetigation that Dr. Livingstone has given practically no attention - having given out five lectures out of forty - to the duties of his chair, out that Dr. Mencer has practically fulfilled the duties dependant upon him: your committee therefor recommend that the secretary be instructed to communicate with Dr. Livingstone, and urge and request, that he fully and completely fulfill the duties [dr?] upon him. That in case of failure to indicate his intention to fulfill these duties, the president of the board, with the chancellor, in conjuction with the dean of the medical faculty be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to provide necessary instructors for chair now assigned to Dr. Livingstone, for the remainder of the college year.
On the motion the report of the committee was received and adopted.
