Robert James Stalcup, from part-time Instructor in School Administration at $1800 to Assistant to the Principal, University High School, at $2700 per year effective September 1, 1958; in place of William Little.

Orlan B. Thomas, from Instructor, 2/5 time, to Instructor 4/5 time, and Supervisor, University High School, and from $2000 to $3800 per year effective September 1, 1958.

Robert Ross Campbell, reappointment as part-time Instructor in School Administration at $1800 per year effective September 1, 1958.

Retirement Approved

It was moved by Regent Swanson, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, that the following retirement be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office:

Esther S. Anderson, Assistant Professor Emeritus of Geography, at $834.19 per year, single life, effective July 1, 1958.

Mrs. Beulah Chaloupka, Secretary, College of Dentistry, at $208.21 per year, single life, effective July 1, 1958.

Maxim K. Elias, Paleontologist, Conservation and Survey Division, at $365.85 per year, joint and survivorship, effective July 1, 1958.

Adele Hurley, Housemother, Residence Halls for Women, at $70.83 per year, single life effective July 1, 1958.

Laurel O. Poole, Housemother, Residence Halls forWomen, at $85.97, single life, effective July 1, 1958.

Peter Brum, Fireman, at $405.42 per year, joint and survivorship, effective August 1, 1958.

Margaret Hawkins, Janitress, at $237.92 per year, single life, effective August 1, 1958.

From the Comptroller's office comes information of the death of three persons currently on University retirement.

It was moved by Regent Foote, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, directing that the University payroll be correctly adjusted to reflect the death of the following persons:

Louise Pound, Prof. Emeritus, English, June 28, 1958
Florence McGahey, Registrar Emeritus, July 6, 1958

Carl E. Faught request permission to repay note

From Mr. Carl E. Faught of Cozad, Nebraska, comes a request that he be permitted to repay in full the remaining $5,000.00 balance on a promissory note issued January 8, 1957 to the Frances Sheldon Estate.

It was moved by Regent Elliott, seconded by Regent Welsh, motion put to vote and carried, directing the following Resolution be approved:
