83Special Meeting University of Nebraska which causes this memorial resolution to be spread upon the permanent minutes of its meeting of April 22,1958; and Be it further resolved that the President of the Board of Regents convey to Mr. Wilson's family the Board's sorrow at his untimely passing. Special Advisory Committee Phillip C. Johnson Associates approved From the University Business Manager comes a report that the speicial advisory committee on the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery (including Mrs. A. B. Sheldon) recommends the appointment of Phillip C. Johnson Associates, New York City, as architect for the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery. It was moved by Regent Elliott, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, that the recommendation of the committee be accepted and that the University Business Manager be authorized to engage the services of Phillip C. Johnson Associates, New York City , as architect fot the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery. Architects named to do preliminary planning on tentative construction From the Chancellor and Business Manager comes a request for informal designation of architects for construction projects presently being planned but without financial obligation on the part of the University, the following selections were recommended: Continuing Education Center: Selmer Solheim and Associates It was moved by Regent Elliott, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, that the informal designation of the above architectural firms be approved as recommended by the Chancellor and Business Manager.
