Lawrence Request transfer of funds It was moved by Regent Welsh, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, directing the University of Nebraska Foundation be requested to transfer to the Comptroller the sum of $20,000.00 from the Frank H. Woods Fellowhsip Trust Fund to support Woods Fellowships from the following persons for the academic year 1956-57: Professor Leroy Burket $2500 Modify original Agreement It was moved by Regent Thompson, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, directing the president and corporation secretary of the Board of Regents shall be authorized to sign in behalf of the Board, a modification of the original No. CM-2 Agreement with the U. S. Forest Service fpr Forest Fire Cooperation in the state as described by the Forest Service and as approved by the Dean of the College of Agriculture. Accepts gifts and grants $28,758 from the U. S. Public Health Service to Dr. Cecil L. Wittson of the College of Medicine: Undergraduate Psychiatric Training (Continuation). $1,000 from the Nebraska Turkey Federation through the University of Nebraska Foundation to Dr. John L. Adams of the Department of Poultry Husbandry: The Effect of Hormones on Growth, Fattening and Reproduction of Poultry. $2,500 from the American Dehydrators Association through the University of Nebraska Foundation to Dr. J Matsushima of the Department of Animal Husbandry: The Value of Dehydrated Alfalfa as a Protein Supplement (with or without Diethylstilbestrol) for Fattening Beef Cattle. $5,060 from the U. S. Public Health Service to Dr. George A. Young of the Department of Animal Pathology: Enzootic Fool of Influenza Viruses. $4,000 from the Nebraska Fertilizer Institute through the University of Nebraska Foundation to Dr. Robert A. Olson of the Department of Agronomy: Availability of Phosphorus Compounds on the Nebraska Fertilizer Market. $2,500 from the Allied Chemical and Dye Corporation through the University of Nebraska Foundation to Dr. H. P. Rhoades of the Department of Agronomy: Urea, Anhydrous Amonia and Nitrogen Solution fior Fertilizing Grain Crops in Nebraska and the use of U.
