This famous scout and Indian fighter will arrive on the E & TH, train this morning, and will with his company be quartered at the St. George. The grand parade will take place about noon. Mr. Cody, of course, is the attraction of the organization, and it is said he has improved wonderfully in his acting, acquitting himself quite artistically now, while there was once a period when he was not so particularly great. Ned Buntline's, hero now, however, is an accomplished actor, who by experience has climbed high up the dramatic ladder. His present company is said to be the best support he has had any season thus far. Miss Lizzie Fletcher, who will be remembered favorably by amusement goers of this city, is Buffalo Bill's principal support, and the handsome little lady plays her part acceptably and effectively. Connie Thompson is a sweet and engaging soubrette and acts with her accustomed vivacity. Jule Keen, a star himself of no mean magnitude, is also with the company. The show is good is all reports are true, and the house will unquestionably be packed. |
