The drama, while having many startling tableaux, has little of the "blood and thunder" that characterized the Bowery drama in the past. The supple story of the child lost on the prairie, her recovery and restoration to the arms of her parent, is illustrated in the most effective manner. The shooting exhibition by Buffalo Bill was enthusiastic by received, and well he desrved it. But, as good as it was, it was not as well appreciated at the able manner in which he acted his part.
