Allen Laughlin, who killed H. W.
Harris in self defense near Fort Fetterman
a few weeks ago, has been released
from jail on a writ of habeas
corpus.

Rev. W. H. Gilliam, of Cheyenne,
will deliver a temperance address in
Greeley on Sunday evening, under the
auspices of the Woman's Christian
Temperance Union.

Knight of the Plains."

The attention of our readers is
called to the professional card of Dr.
H. J. Maynard, late of St. Louis, who
will hereafter be found in the Carr
block on Ferguson street. Those who
are unfortunate enough to be sick
should secure his services.

The Buffalo Bill troupe will give
so matinee this afternoon, but will
play to-night, "The Knight of the
Plains."
