Scouts of the Plains.-- The Academy of
Music, last evening, was well filled to witness
the last performance of the "Scouts
of the Plains." The performance was
commenced with, "Thrice Married," during
which either the Scouts nor
Indians appeared. It was, however,
quite pleasing and well rendered.
The performance closed with the
three act drama entitled, "Buffalo
Bill; King of the Border Men." The
drama is of a very interesting character,
presenting many wild and thrilling
scenes. The troupe, although yet young,
is composed of some good talent, and with
the attraction of Buffalo Bill, Texas Jack,
Wild Bill and the Indians, is everywhere
meeting with the deserved success.
