MRS. PEATTIE'S LOSS.

Former Omaha Newspaper Woman's
Studio Is Destroyed.

Chicago, Ill. Sept 27-- "Wild Wood,"
the log cabin studio of Mrs. Elia W.
Peattie, near South Haven, Mich was
burned to the ground last Monday night.
More than fifty of Mrs Peattie's unpublished
manuscripts were destroyed.
