OFFICIAL PROGRAMME.

1 - OVERTURE, "Star Spangled Banner", . .COWBOY BAND, WM SWEENEY, LEADER.

2 - GRAND REVIEW, introducing the ROUGH RIDERS OF THE WORLD - Indians, Cowboys, Mexicans, Cossacks, Arabs, Scouts, Guides and detachments of fully equipped Regular Soldiers of Armies of America, England, Germany and Russia. Detachments from the contending forces in South Africa (wounded and invalided veterans); Canadian Mounted Rifles; Commando of Transvaal Boers; Canadian Strathcona Horse (Mounted Police), and a band of Baden-Powell's Defenders of Mafeking.

3 - MISS ANNIE OAKLEY, Celebrated Shot, who will illustrate her dexterity in the use of firearms.

4 - RACE OF RACES. Race between a Cowboy, a Cossack, a Mexican, an Arab, a Gaucho, and an Indian, on Spanish-Mexican, Bronco, Russian, Indian, and Arabian horses.

5 - U.S. ARTILLERY DRILL, by veterans from Capt. Thorpe's Battery D, Fifth Regiment, U.S. Artillery.

6 - ILLUSTRATING A PRAIRIE EMIGRANT TRAIN CROSSING THE PLAINS. It is attacked by marauding Indians, who are in turn repulsed by "Buffalo Bill" and a number of Scouts and Cowboys.

7 - PONY EXPRESS. A former Pony Post Rider will show how letters and telegrams of the Republic were distributed across our Continent previous to the building of railways and telegraph.

8 - A GROUP OF MEXICANS from Old Mexico will illustrate the use of the lasso and perform various feats of horsemanship.

9 - JOHNNY BAKER, Celebrated American Marksman.

10 - A GROUP OF RIFFIAN ARAB HORSEMEN will illustrate their style of horsemanship together with native sports and pastimes.

11 - LIFE-SAVING SERVICE DRILL. Illustrating the method of saving lives when a vessel is wrecked. This Drill will be executed by a full crew of veteran members of the Life-Saving Service of the United States from the stations on the New Jersey coast. Every man of this crew has a record for skill and daring in his hazardous profession.

12 - COSSACKS, from the Caucasus of Russia, in feats of horsemanship, native dances, etc.

13 - INDIAN BOY RACE.

14 - COWBOY FUN. Picking objects from the ground, lassoing wild horses, riding the buckers, etc.

15 - INDIANS from the Sioux, Arrapahoe, Brule and Cheyenne tribes will illustrate the Indian mode of fighting, war-dances and games.

16 - VETERANS FROM THE SIXTH U.S. CAVALRY in military exercises and an exhibition of athletic sports and horsemanship.

NOTE. - The men will wear the uniforms adopted by the U.S. Army on the frontier. The horses are Western range horse,. used in this manner for the first time in history. The Army and National Guard use the "American" horse.

17 - HOLD-UP OF THE DEADWOOD STAGE COACH. Being an exact reproduction of an event in the history of this identical coach.

18 - THREE MINUTES WITH THE ROUGH RIDERS OF THE WORLD.

19 - COL. W. F. CODY ("Buffalo Bill") in his unique feats of sharpshooting while riding at full speed.

20 - BUFFALO HUNT, as it was in the Far West of North America, by "Buffalo Bill" and Indians, exhibiting the last of the only known native herd of buffalo.

21 - THE BATTLE OF TIEN-TSIN. This episode introduces detachments from the allied armies of the world. The mise en scene is correct in every particular, and is carried out with strict fidelity to the subject.

SCENE 1 - Assembly of the powers. Cavalry Drill. Camp episodes, and the Advance of Tien-Tsin.

SCENE 2 - The walls of Tien-Tsin. The Royal Standard of Paganism floats proudly defiant of the Christian world. The Alarm, the Attack, the Defense and the STORMING OF THE WALLS. The Royal Standard comes down and the BANNERS OF CIVILIZATION take its place.

Up towards the crystal gates of Heaven ascending.

The mortal tempest best,

As if they sought to try their cause together

Before God's very feet.

N.B. - The colors carried by each detachment denotes the army to which the detachment belongs. CURTAINS.

N.B. - The Management reserves the right to change Programme according to circumstances, occasion or accident.

NOTICE. - In order not to disturb the audience all persons are earnestly requested to remain seated until the end.

Any discourtesy on the part of the Ushers or other employees should be at once reported to the Manager. All articles found will be sent to the Manager's Office.

Several Experienced Detectives are in attendance at every performance for the Protection of our Patrons.

COLONEL CODY uses Winchester Rifles and Winchester Ammunition exclusively in all his exhibitions.

Address all business communications pertaining to the Arenic Department of the Wild West Exhibition to Mr. Johnnie Baker.
