Buffalo Bill, the realistic exponent of the wild Western drama, and a great favorite in Rock Island, was warmly welcomed at Harper's Theatre last night. He presented a sensational play in four acts, by John. A. Stevens, author of "The Unknown," a play abounding in startling situations and affording room in the second act for specialty songs by Jule Keen (Buffalo Bill's Dutchman.") John Pendy and Miss Jeff Pendy, and fancy rifle shooting by the Hon. W. F. Cody. In the fourth act a number of Pawnee Indians give the scalp, horse, [?] and other dances- a feature that provokes a contrast of civilized and savage amusements.
