Howard Athenaeum. Mr. W. F. Cody, alias Buffalo Bill, with his troupe of real and imitation Indians, is drawing crowds, aided by Mr. Steven's drama, "The Prairie Waif." The play is, of course, in the heroic vein, and in it the best traits of the red man are set forth in becoming form. In the course of the piece, Mr. Cody gives some exhibitions of his skill with the rifle, and local color is added to the presentation by Indian songs and dances. Then there is some Dutch comic business, and a donkey, and other means for raising laughter, which, as well as applause, is plentifully bestowed by the delighted audience.
