The Red Man on the Street.

The chief of the Buffaloes had his tribe before the public this morning on a street parade, and although it was not an extensive display, so far as "Big Injun" was concerned, the excitement along the sidewalks was as great, almost, as when Barnum's show is airing itself. The most attractive feature was "Buffalo Bill," who is as fine a specimen of man as any one need want to look at.

It was surprising to see how many Williamsporters quietly slipped in to see Buffalo William dispatch those same Indians again last night.

Buffalo Bill Last Night.

As usual, the "Buffalo Bill" entertainment drew an immense audience to the Academy of Music last night. The play was the "Prairie Waif," and as it was written expressly for "Buffalo Bill," that hero has a fine opportunity for bringing himself before his audience in such a shape as to please. The amusing part of the play is largely aided by Mr. Jule Keene, in a Dutch character. In a character of this kind Mr. Keene is probably one of the best on the stage.
