"THE PRAIRIE WAIF."

On Friday evening next the Buffalo Bill Combination will give an entertainment in Union Hall, on which occasion the sensational drama under the above title will be produced by a full company, and one of the attractions will consist in the play being participated in by a band of genuine Indians from the far West. "The Prairie Waif" was written specially for William F. Cody (Buffalo Bill) by the actor, dramatist, and author, John A. Stevens, and it embraces many startling situations, hair-breadth escapes, and all that. The usual prices of admission will be charged, and for further particulars our readers are referred to the advertisement of the troupe in this issue.

"Buffalo Bill" at the Walnut.

"Buffalo Bill" Cody and his absurd but exciting drama, Prairie Waif, appeared at the Walnut Street Theatre last night, and drew an immense and enthusiastic audience, which vigorously applauded the scout's rifle shooting, the Indian dances, and the antics of "Jeremiah," the one good actor in the company. People who want something luridly exciting when they go to the theatre will find their fondest aspirations realized by the Prairie Waif, which will hold the boards all this week, and be succeeded next Monday by John McCullough as "Virginius."
