136BUFFALO BILL. This combination has been here and | 136BUFFALO BILL. This combination has been here and we sincerely hope the small boy and small man are both satisfied. For ourselves, we think the drama of the "Prairie Waif" is a rough, rude, and vulgar play, only fit for a low variety stage, where the scum and offscouring of a large city congregate to pass their evening. While the part of Hands was well acted by Jule Keen, it would be to the credit of himself if he would omit some of his vulgarity. The same to Miss Nellie Lingard. The marksmanship of "Buffalo Bill," as he is commonly called, is wonderful, and was enjoyed by all who witnessed it. The next time he appears in this city we hope he will have pruned his drama to such an extent, that the people will not have a hesitancy in attending its representation. |
