THE BUFFALO BILL COMBINATION.
Hon. W. F. Cody, with a new combination and a new play will begin an engagement of three nights and a matinee at the Grand opera house, this evening. The new play, the "Knight of the plains," is of course a border play, but is tempered with scences from social life, and rendered realistic by the introduction of real scout and Indians, among them Master Burgess, the boy chief of the Pawnees, and C.A. Butgess, government scout and guide, Indian chiefs from the Ponca and Pawnee reservation. The company is said to be one for the great strength and merit.

BUFFALO BILL.
The audience at the Grand Opera house last night resembled a tree, biggest at the top. Boys and youths crowded the upper stories and yelled delight at the painted Indians and the frequent brandishing of pistols and flourishing of knives. The Buffalo combination is good in its way. It fulfills the purpose of its being with fidelity and to the satisfaction of its auditors. It has a capital low comedian in Mr. Beverly, and an actress of real merit in Miss Jones. It will remain for two nights longer.
