ENTERTAINMENTS.
MAY CODY.--This new play, a border drama, divested of some of the unpleasant features usually introduced in plays of that description, was presented at the Opera House Monday and Tuesday evenings, with a Christmas matinee, by the Buffalo Bill Company. The three performances were well attended, the gallery being crowded at each performance. Of the play itself it can only be said that it possessed a few pleasing qualities, which were greatly overshadowed by improbable situations and impossible incidents. It was fairly well rendered, and to those who admire that school of acting, it was a great dramatic event.

Amusements. -Buffalo Bill with his Indian braves in their complement of war paint, makes his appearance this evening at the Griswold opera house in the thrilling and sensational drama of "May Cody, or Lost and Won."

THE BUFFALO BILL COMPANY. This afternoon the Buffalo Bill Combination gives its second performance at the Academy of Music. The audience was large and appreciative on Sunday evening, and it is presumable that the sensational new drama, entitled May Cody, or Lost and Won, will prove an attraction during the remainder of the engagement, which includes to-night, to-morrow night, and Thursday night. Buffalo Bill (Mr. Cody) has improved as an actor since his last appearance, and he is well supported. The shooting by the Austin brothers is simply marvelous.
